SAMSON USA Celebrates 25 Years
SAMSON CONTROLS Reaches 25th Anniversary in US
Expanding into Texas in 1992 helped an 85-year-old German valve manufacturer, SAMSON AG, increase its foothold into the growing US valve market. As SAMSON Controls, the US subsidiary of SAMSON AG, celebrates its 25th Anniversary, it continues to expand its presence in the United States.
SAMSON AG, founded in 1907 by Hermann Sandvoss, as a high-quality well engineered valve manufacturer, selected Baytown, Texas for its close proximity to the many processing plants in and around the Houston ship channel. By establishing a base of operations in Texas, SAMSON Controls has been able to greatly increase its manufacturing operations and personnel. Beginning as a two person sales and assembly office, SAMSON Controls has grown to 75 employees with full capability of sales, manufacturing, assembly and automation of SAMSON control valves. The factory has grown to over 58,000 square feet with advanced lathes and machining.
SAMSON Controls now meets the demands of customers across the United States through its network of representatives.
